Looking for some new pumpkin recipes this year?! I love cooking and using fresh pumpkin puree makes the flavor so rich, so I thought I’d share my go-to recipes using fresh pumpkin with you!
First of all, I usually get one pumpkin per fall season. Once I cook it and puree all the goodies inside, I have enough for several recipes. Last year, I got one medium sized pumpkin and made pumpkin bread and pie that week. I froze the rest of my puree by the cup and wrote on the ziplock bag how many cups were in each bag. That way I could pull out just what I need for a recipe the rest of the season without wasting the fresh pumpkin!
This recipe comes from the Novice Chef, and is absolutely dreamy! You can edit the recipe to make it a little healthier and eat with yogurt in the morning, or keep the sugar and serve with ice-cream for dessert!
